One of the best things I can do as an athlete, and a person, is share my individual experiences for the betterment of others. Last year, I was challenged by one of my sponsors to speak to large groups about my quest to reach the starting line of the Ironman World Championships. I have always had a passion for helping others achieve their goals and make better choices to improve their quality of life. Since then, I have developed several motivational talks to engage a variety of audiences.
This journey is certainly not about me. It's about all of the people, experiences, and opportunities I've encountered along the way. I believe I've been placed in this particular sport and given the ability to share it with others for a reason. By incorporating principals of nutrition, wellness, exercise, goal setting, and a new self vision, each talk can motivate people to change and enrich their lives. I look forward to sharing my story of challenge, defeat, and victory with others who dare to dream, and to encourage them to overcome the many roadblocks they're sure to encounter.
